Tonight I am having a tarot card reading party at my house. A friend of mine went to one a few months ago and she was skeptical about the whole thing. Well everything that the psychic told her has came true (new job, things about her son and her realtionshiip). Another one of my friends went to her and the psychic knew about my friend's daughter passing from SIDS three years ago, she knew she wasn't in a happy place and she told her she would get a new job (which she did).

So after practically begging my husband I am having a party at my house. It is no cost to me (except for food and drinks) and I have several friends coming. I am nervous and still very skeptical at the same time so we will see... I'm anxious if she can tell me the baby's sex. We'll find out if she's right at our a/s on the 22nd.

Have fun with it but try and take it with a grain of salt! One of my friends did that and the lady told her something really bad was going to happen...that was four years ago and nothing has... So just go into it thinking of it as fun.

have fun with it! but like other pp's said...take it with a grain of salt...

i'm a bit skeptical of these things myself...but my bff is totally into it...her and her mom regularly see a psychic....and one of her friends kind of has the ability....the last time i saw her friend was before dh and i were really serious....and she called it...she also knew bff was pregnant with a boy...before bff told anyone...

last time dh and i went to disney world, we also went to universal studios, and there were tarot card readers there and dh had his cards read....she had a lot to say about his job, not sure if any of it was right or came true (i tried not to listen) but he wanted to know about family stuff...we had only just started to ttc earlier that year....and she said we would have a family...and the only thing i can really remember is that she said he was approaching his child and at first it was a boy, but then it was a girl....i was thinking it just meant we were destined to be aunt and uncle to my sister's kids...but i just talked about this with my bff and she thinks it means that dh needs to come to terms with having a daughter....and i can see that...esp because i feel like we're going to have a girl...we'll see come january!

I would NEVER pay for this..to have the party you need at least 8 guests. I had no problem finding 8 willing friends to pay.

I don't want to know anything negative..unless it has to do with my career..because I am seriously thinking of a career move.. I'll tell her that up front.

Last November I saw a psychic and he told me a lot of things that have come true. He told me that I shouldnt worry about getting pregnant cause I am very fertile and I will be getting pregnant soon and everything will be fine and I will have a healthy boy.

I had worries about fertility cause of my age(33) didnt know if I was getting up there in age so when he told me that I was pleasantly surprised. There were several other things he predicted that have already come true. I am not 100% convinced that I am having a boy but it's fun to think maybe he is right lol. We find out on the 14th.

Defintiely have fun with it. I also take it with a grain of salt. I had my cards ready in New Orleans on my bachelorette weekend, because I figured, I was in NOLA, so why not. She told me I would have twin boys and a girl eventually. We'll it's not twins; we'll see if it's a girl in a few weeks!
