Lump above scar?

So I had my CS 4 weeks ago and my recovery has gone very well my incision looks great, but on the underside of my belly there is a lump. It's sort of painful. I go to my doctors in a few days, but I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this and if they knew what it was.

I notice when I rub Vit E lotion on there that it's a bump, mostly on the ends. My Dr said there are internal stiches/knots. Will melt away around 6-8 weeks. I'm assuming the bumps are the knots.

It could be an infection or a pimple. I found out my cs got infected but antibiotics helped. Then a few weeks later at my pp visit ob I showed her a lump (pink/purple) right above my scar. She said it was a harmless pimple. I would make an apt and see what they say.

How big is the lump? 

I had an area running almost the entire length of the incision that was a bump. They told me it was most likely scar tissue. It's still there a little bit, every after 2.5 months..... luckily going away though. That could be it?

I had the same thing a couple of weeks after the csection and dr checked and said it was just from the stitches. It could also be an ingrown hair, I was told this from a couple of friends who had a csection themselves.
