Our little girl decided she would come when she wanted which happened to be last Thursday, August 2nd at 3:00am! I'm hopefully going to get around to writing up her birth story since it was kind of amusing including my water breaking at work including leaving a puddle for them to clean and DH having a nervous belly right before show time... But for now, Avery Lyn weighed 6lbs 3oz, 18" long, and she has had to spend some time in the NICU but we're hoping to bring her home tomorrow!

Congratulations on your little girl and glad she is healthy.

Thanks Steph for understanding what I was saying.
Am I happy she was that early and I have been discharged without her? No, I cry leaving her every night but am I happy she's alive and getting healthy enough to come home? Yes and that's what I'm excited about.
Thanks everyone for the Congrats and compliments on her name! We did a name that was one we just liked (Avery) and a family name (Lyn - DH's mom's middle name)
