1st Trimester

7 weeks and cautious

Hello everyone!

I am 7 weeks this week and am very excited. Last year I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks so I am also a little nervous with this pregnancy.

With last year's pregnancy, I never had morning sickness, which I know its so common. So far, I haven't had it with this pregnancy either.

I have had really sore breasts, fatigue and a little bit of nausea where eating a little bit helps.

I'm just really nervous that that means I'm going to miscarry again. Are lack of pregnancy symptoms an indication of possible miscarriage?

I'm going to my first OB appointment next week and will definitely let him or her know my concerns.

  • Only 75% of pregnant women suffer from morning sickness.  So count your lucky stars. :) there's nothing you can do to prevent miscarriage at this point.

This, I had my first day of all day nausea today. It was buckets of fun, and I am just as much at risk as you for a miscarriage. Just enjoy it week by week. That's all you can do.

  • You haven't gotten m/s... yet! I didn't get it until I was 13 weeks. Not to say that's the most normal, but don't count yourself short. You will be regretting that you ever wished for m/s though! I had it for a solid month and DH could hear me throughout the house throwing up dinner every night. Didn't matter if I ate or not... no fun!
  • With my first I had very few symptoms.  Just fatigue, sore boobs, and a sensitive gag reflex.  I did not have any nausea and only threw up once when I accidentally gagged myself with my toothbrush.  I ended up with a healthy baby in the end and had no pregnancy complications so to answer your question, no, lack of symptoms does not indicate that you are going to miscarry.
