This LO is making the room spin more than #1 did. I'm trying to keep eating and drinking throughout the day, and to balance the blood sugar with a balanced diet - but wondered if anybody had good luck with a particular snack.
I agree with everyone else. I like crackers. They seem to get into my system quicker than anything else when that dizzy spell hits. So I keep either crackers with cheese or crackers with peanutbutter in my work bag or purse all the time. It hits me at really silly times that make no sense, but if you have your snack right away, that can usually kick it before it gets going too badly. Also, make sure you're getting enough water. Your body is doing so much work right now and really needs that extra hydration at this point.
While I'm sure protein is better, I usually go for something sugary. If I'm feeling dizzy it usually means that I need to eat something NOW. So if I have a cookie, or juice I will grab that. Or maybe a granola bar. I'll eat something healthy after, but I usually go with the initial small sugar burst so that I can get to the healthy stuff.
