Are you still cooking with wine?

I was wondering if you are still cooking with wine. I am but I heard some people who dont when they are pregnant. I am in the camp that everything is fine in moderation but I dont know if people are taking things to the extreme by not cooking with wine or is it something I should give up.

Yes. I also made vodka sauce the other day. It's fine. The alcohol gets cooked out.

Everything is fine in moderation. If you're actually heating it up & letting it simmer for a while most/all of the alcohol will burns off.

Seeing that many recent studies show its fine for pregnant women to drink wine occasionally, I'd say it's okay.

this, so it's fine, is ot like you pour gallons of wine in every meal you cook

I am.  First, some of the alcohol cooks off, and second the amount you actually eat in your portion is rather small.  I'm personally in the alcohol in moderation is fine camp, but even though I think that I don't really drink it (other than maybe stealing a sip or two from MH's beer) because I'm not a huge drinker (especially wine) when not pregnant so it's really NBD for me to avoid it.  I definitely still cook with it though.

I heard that the most of the alcohol evaporates during cooking. I think cooking with wine is fine.

Agree with the fact that it burns off as well as everything in moderation.  In fact, I had a small glass of prosecco the other night ??

I've never cooked with wine because I don't drink it and it's just sit around forever. I think you are fine. It's not going to hurt anything.
