I personally wouldn't spend money on nursing bras until a good six weeks or so after giving birth.  My size changed a few times before DS was two months old, and I ended up wasting a lot of money on expensive bras I couldn't wear :-(

You're right, I had no idea what size to buy till a few weeks after I had my first son. My milk supply has gone down a lot now (DS just turned 1) and I needed a new nursing bra. So for me, it was easy, but for new mommies it might be difficult.

I at least want new sports bras or soft, no-wire bras... I've only grown a half a cup, but anything digging in has become super uncomfortable >< thanks for the PSA!
