Vent: Back pain

My lower back is killing me. I feel like there are little gnomes in there stabbing me every time I try to move. I never had this with either of the boys. My midwife said dd is head down and really engaged in my pelvis, so that is probably what is causing it. I've been going to the chiropractor for a few weeks and it helps, but it never goes away. My left leg seriously wants to give out when I stand up. I am so not a complainer, especially about pregnancy (at least I am not in ptl this time) but I am over this back pain. Seriously......f this!

Yeah, I'm over it too. My lower back hurts, but it often hurts in the middle as well. Add to this the fact that pretty much since I was 12, my upper back, shoulders and neck have bothered me, and I'm about ready to just trade in the whole neck to hip area.

Sorry to hear that. I have had major back, pelvic/groin and sciatic leg pain for the last 2 months. My leg almost gives out and I was walking like a crab...not attractive. The OB suggested a belly belt with back support. I got one for $38.99 from Motherhood maternity. It has helped a lot, but has not taken all the pain away. The OB told me it will get worse through out this pregnancy and every pregnancy after this one. Something I have to look forward to! Hope you find something to relieve most if not all of the pain.
