This came to me in the shower this morning and I figured I'd post it b/c it scared me when it happened. Your daughter will most likely have vaginal bleeding within the first couple weeks. It's hormone related and completely normal. DD's actually looked like red crystals in her diaper. I called the nurses line freaking out.
Re: New moms of girls - PSA
I'm so glad I saw this in one of my books - I had no idea! Thanks for sharing!

I had two girls and this never happened. I think I would have freaked out
Kid #1 - 09/03/12
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
Good to know.
DS had blood in his urine a few days after I took him home from the hospital and I called the doctor freaking out. She said it could have been from breastfeeding if my nipples were bleeding a bit it could have come through in his urine. So I guess it can sort of happen to boys also.
WTF.
I can't imagine how anyone would think a girl is easier!
LOLZ
This for me too. My pedi warned me about this, but neither of my girls had it. We will see if girl #3 does or not.
