T&Ps needed, please.

It's the phone call I'm dreading but I know is coming any day now....

My dear friend/ex-boyfriend is in the final stages of really nasty cancer.   Was diagnosed about a year ago and no amount of chemo/radiation/alternate therapies have been working.

Just got a call from a mutual friend telling us to be prepared for the funeral.

Very bittersweet.   I want his pain to be gone, but it breaks my heart for him and his dear, sweet wife. 

T&Ps please that he can go peacefully.

I am so sorry - I understand the mixed feelings all too well, but that doesn't make us miss them any less. Everyone will be in my T&P for a peaceful passing.
