We're not starting DS there until this coming September, but Bet Yeladim is nothing short of spectacular - based on our visits, discussions with lots of current parents and every review I've ever read. It's a Jewish school, of course, but because of their reputation they have a wide range of children from many backgrounds and acknowledge and respect them all. DS will be in the Tu/Th program, 9-12:15. There's also a 1:15 option that includes lunch, as well as the same time options for M/W/Fr (or all five days).
I have read great reviews about the Jewish school listed above but didn't contact them because I did not realize you can attend the school without being Jewish.
I enrolled Luke into Trinity School. It is a private school in Howard County with amazing reviews and an absolutely beautiful campus!
We looked into the Jewish school for daycare, and I liked it not only because I am Jewish, but it seemed so community oriented. We didn't go with them though because they keep kosher (they do not allow meat for lunches even if it is kosher) and they are closed for the FULL version of the Jewish holiday. So, think a whole week for passover, etc. As a working mom, that is a lot of time to be closed... and hard for lunch ideas... no turkey...
