Liam's latest acquisition is an Ariel princess doll for the pool/bathtub. He was playing with one at the pool and got kind of attached. The little girl who owned it ended up leaving before we did and he was heartbroken to give up his "pwincess". We went to Target the following day and the dolls were on sale so I bought him one. He has since been sleeping with it and carrying it around the house as well as playing with it in the bathtub. I think it's cute. I think he's so attached mostly because he had to give the first one up. He also has a kitchen (if you consider that a "girl" toy) and a Cabbage Patch doll and likes to play with purses. Other than that his stuff is pretty much standard boy toys (he's way into superheroes and robots right now) and gender neutral stuff like musical instruments and Play-Doh.
What are your boys playing with?
ETA: or girls?
Re: Does your son play with any stereotypically "girl" toys?
My son has a twin sister so he plays with any and all toys. He'll play with dolls, but doesn't have the attachment to one like she does.
He does like to wear headbands and look pretty though.
*Siggy Warning*

I don't have a boy yet, but if I do he will have two older sisters, so I'm sure he will play with plenty of "girl" toys.
Also my girl has some dinosaurs, matchbox cars and a Spiderman fishing pole.
I think his "pwincess" is the most adorable freaking thing I have ever heard. Love it.
I have a DD and she has a prince and princess doll and has told me multiple times she wants to be the prince for Halloween. I ask her if she means princess but she says, "no! pince!" then tells me I can be the princess.
Always Sunny's back b-tches!
It's pretty freakin' cute. He adores her. But it's funny because he doesn't know how he's "supposed" to play with her so she gets tossed around and thrown a lot, haha.
Mac doesn't really have any stereotypically girl toys because he's never shown interest in them. He doesn't seem interested in the stuffed animals he has or the dolls at school, so I haven't bought any for him.
He does, however, LOVE to try on my high heels and walk around in them. He also loves to put on chapstick, which might look girlie to some people. And he's drawn to sparkles and the color pink.
He has a pink and purple picnic basket with plastic food and plates that he plays with all the time. He also loves dolls but doesn't have one of his own yet. We don't have a play kitchen yet (he's getting one for Christmas) but he loves the one at DC. I don't really consider a kitchen a "girl" toy, though.
Honestly, he doesn't really play with toys all that much. He's more into running/jumping/climbing.
Yes, my son has a deep seated love for all girl things. His fav color is pink. He loves to have tea parties and take care of baby dolls. When I do DD's hair, he wants his hair done too. One time I was painting my nails and painted one of his fingers pink and it was like the greatest day of his life. He showed it off to everyone. lol.
he has some boy stuff too--he has a pirate sword like jake that he loves. He also loves trains and cars too.
The dolls/stuffed animals that he does have end up crashing things and/or being thrown/run over. He is very much a rough boy when playing with everything. He does love playing with his cousins play kitchen and cooking for me:)
He does love ariel....but only because "I can see her belly mommy" He enjoyed the swimsuit catalogs that came in the mail this summer. I'm in trouble!

He's had the purple unicorn pillow pet for 2 years now and it's his pillow every night. It's called Uni Corny.
He also loves his diner/kitchen and playing dress up in any costume, boy or girl.
My daughter loves Ironman and has stolen all of her brother's Ironman toys, but one in particular goes everywhere with us. She pretty much ignores all princess and girly things except to carry Ironman in her purple purse
This is the pillow pet and it just got cooler
Eta: I can not wait to get my damn computer fixed. That is all
Among ds's most prized possessions:
His lipstick (really Chapstick, but he has a million)
Eyebrow pencil that grandma gave him
Hair clips/loves ponytails
Dd loves anything with wheels and drives them around making car noises and tools
Tenacious E is into cars. Big time. She takes everything with wheels and drives it all over the house.
The Budge (a boy) is totally into Monster High Dolls. Amazing.
Monkeymoo (a girl) is a reader. She's at that age where she's about to give up toys and it's killing me inside.
