Disposable Diapers

What brand/style diapers do you use?  I've always used papers swaddlers, but I see a lot of you ladies buy the target brand or cheaper versions.  I'm thinking of giving them a try to save some $$.

Re: Disposable Diapers

  • I haven't tried Target, but have used Pampers Baby Dry for both kids and those have been the best.  They are cheaper than the Cruisers & Pampers usually has coupons.

We've also tried CVS brand when they were 75% off and they were fine, but they did rub DD's legs and so she'd get a little scratchy on her thighs with those.  DS they were fine with his chubby legs.

Luvs has also worked for us too.

  • Always used Pampers Swaddlers and now Cruisers.  I tried Luvs and the baby dry and J blew out every diaper. I'm a SAHM so I am always trying to save money.  I have only bought diapers 2 times since DS was born.  I search ebay/diapers.com/amazon mom and babies r us.  I have gotten them for 16 cents a diaper both times with combining manufacturers coupons and sales.

  • We are not tooooo brand loyal. I do swear by Pampers Baby Dry overnight, but during the day we go back and forth between Huggies and Pampers Cruisers, depending on sales / coupons. I've tried Luvs also but they were awful.

  • We started with Pampers Swaddlers and then switched to Pampers Cruisers a couple of months ago when we switched to size 3. A couple of weeks ago we bought a small pack of the Target Up and Up brand to test and they work great! So now we use those mainly and haven't had any issues and they are SO much cheaper!

  • I used Pampers Swaddlers and then switched to Cruisers, but now I will also use Huggies as well. I actually just bought the Huggies Little Movers Slip Ons since it is an absolute nightmare trying to change her but I haven't tried them yet. We also just went through a pack of the BRU brand diapers (the jean looking ones) and they were fine, definitely a lot thinner than the others though. I also have a pack of Luvs Size 4 at home that I haven't tried yet. I think I will stick to Pampers or Huggies though.

Also, at night we use Huggies Overnight.

  • We had started out with Pampers swaddlers, but then I read that Luvs are made by the same company so we switched. We still use them at nighttime (CD's at daytime).

  • I tried a small pack of Luvs, Up & Up and Parent's Choice.  The best by far for us were the Parent's Choice.  We use Pampers Baby Dry for overnight.

  • I like Pampers - they seem softer and have a slight smell of baby powder :-)

  • We use cloth now, but before we switched we used Luvs because those seemed to work best for DS.  Luvs has smaller packages that you can try out before you invest in the ginormous packages.  :)
  • I'm still using Pampers Swaddlers, they're so soft and smell so good. They're my favorite. I've tried others but always end up back with the Pampers. You can actually get them on Amazon for a really good price. If you do subscribe and save you can get a box of 174 size 3's for $41. (Although I USED to get it for $37, price just went up dangit)

  • I always used pampers but recently switched to LUVS.  We like them.  They are soft and fit him well, plus never any leaks.

We started in Pampers Swaddlers, but when we got to size 3, we switched to Baby Dry, and Liam leaked out of them, so we switched to Huggies Little Movers.

Just so you know, Pampers Swaddlers make a size 3 :-)  A lot of people don't think they do since they're hard to find, but you can get them on Amazon.
