AW: NT scan today!

I had a great NT scan today. The babies have "all of their parts accounted for" and their risk of Downs and Trisonomy 13 & 16 are really low. I am so relieved that they're happy and healthy. 

The best part was talking to my MFM. He scheduled my c-section date for January 16 (37 weeks).  Also, he said he would write me out of work ASAP because I need to stay off my feet as much as possible. So I'm going to go back for about a month (I'm a teacher) and be out of there!  I was really worried about work because those first graders are super needy at the beginning of the year.  I have 3 weeks left to rest and enjoy the summer (as much as I can while recovering from my TAC). I may even tell a few people I'm pregnant because it's starting to feel real. I'm excited to be just about 1/3 of the way there.

Congratulations on a great scan!  I didn't realize you teach 1st grade - so do I!  GL with your month of work, and enjoy that time off!

Congrats on a good scan! I'm green with envy about your MFM. We don't have any c-section scheduling yet, and I'm a teacher, too and they haven't said word one about bed rest. I teach 7th and 8th graders though; I imagine 1st graders would be a lot more physically taxing! Glad everything went so well!

Congrats on the great results from the NT scan! Going back to work shouldn't be too hard since you know you only have to make it a month. I teach too but at the HS level. I know those little ones can be really needy physically and I'm glad I don't have to deal with that! January is a great month for rainbow babies
