AF came a week early while on BCP - but TTC...a question

So AF came last Tuesday (7/24) and is STILL here (not normal for me at all!). AF wasn't supposed to show up til tomorrow (8/1). But here's the kicker...DH and I decided we're ready to try, and I took my last pill on 7/28 (I never take the sugar pills...) so do I count my first day as 7/24 or 8/1? Or should I just wait til AF comes again to start charting?

If you started bleeding on 7/24, why would you could 8/1 as CD 1?

You count the first day of normal flow, so 7/24.

I would count CD 1 as when your period started, but I've never had my period start early on BCP unless I accidentally skipped a pill. Did this happen by chance?

Ditto this.  Count 7/24 as CD1, but I would want to know why my period came early while I was still taking active BCP.

 This is the first time for it to come a week early. And the first thing I did was to make sure I had taken all my pills I did take them all, so I honestly have no idea why AF showed up so early.

I guess because I continued taking my pills (I wanted to finish the pack) I wasn't sure which day would really be CD1. I have a feeling I'm going to be a little wacky the next couple of months...
