my friend's miracle baby!

Whoever you thank when good things happen, thank them today, on behalf of a good friend of mine, R.

After breaking her leg, R was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 25. She had to cancel her wedding and leave her career as a teacher to fight it.

Now, almost 3 years later, she is not only cancer-free, she is happily married, had a healthy, longer than full term by a few days pregnancy, and she and her husband welcomed baby Anthony into the world this morning. 

I am still waiting to hear the details. All I know is that he was 7lb, 10oz, and that everyone is healthy.
