Hi All
I've been lurking for some time now. I thank you all for sharing your stories because they are what keeps me hopeful. We've been TTC since March 2011. After 4 months of trying my primary suggested I talked to an OB. I did that and he did some testing and found nothing wrong. HSG was clear. We did 3 rounds of clomid with no success. So I was referred to the Fertility center. After more testing I was diagnosed with PCOS and extremely low Estrogen levels. Therefore my Dr suggested IVF. We did our first cycle in January 2012. ER got us 8, 6 were mature and 3 fertilized. We had a day 2 transfer of 2 embies. 12 days later we got the best news of our life, we we're going to be parents!! My pregnancy was anything but normal. I bled off and oN the first 6 weeks. But everything looked great. Our little one was measuring perfectly and had a very strong heartbeat. After 8 weeks we wee discharged from the fertility center back to my OB. At 9 weeks We started telling our family and then it snowballed and we quickly told everyone our exciting news. The following week we went in for our 10 week u/s to find there was no HB. My entire world crashed down in the blink of an eye. The following day we went in for a D&C. My hSG was over 10,000. In the coming weeks my me levels weren't dropping so we had to go in for a second procedure. It took from March - July to get to a HSG of 3 (close enough to not pregnant).
I went back in cycle 2 weeks ago. July 22 we had our ER and got 5 eggs. 4 were mature and all four fertilized. We did a day 3 transfer of 2 embies. I go in next Monday for my BETA. I am anxious beyond words. My husband and I haven't told a sole what we are going through this time. We are praying this cycle works and we will soon Be bringing life into the world. But its so hard not having our families support this cycle. We just wanted ted to spare them the devistation of another loss. It Was so hard on all of us. So here I am turning to you girls. Looking forward to hearing your stories and sharing in the successes we all deserve. Sending Positive thoughts and prayers each of your way!!
