Appointments schedule....

I have been catching up and notice that most of you are still going to bi-weekly appointments.  I am 34 weeks 1 day today and have already started weekly appointments. 

I'm curious how many people have started weekly appointments and who is still on bi-weekly?  If you are on weekly already, is there a complication in your pregnancy or at what point does your doctor start weekly appointments?

Tomorrow is my last bi-weekly appointment, after that, I go weekly.

Bi-weekly until 36 weeks. I went at 33.5 weeks, so I'll go again at 35.5 then every week after that.

I was bi-weekly but now I wont go till the 13th which is 3 - weeks after my last appointment. I think mostly because baby boy was breech and they wanted to give him some extra time to move before they did another ultrasound. Plus I have had NO complication  blood pressure is great so he didn't see the need to come back so soon.

Weekly starts at 36 weeks.  I will go next week at 34, then at 36, 37, etc..

I have to go weekly for NST because I am on blood pressure medicine.  I guess I am considered "high risk" even though my blood pressure has been great during pregnancy.......I have been on medicine for years.  Gotta love genetics

My next app't is next week Friday for my 34 week appt when I am 35w 1 day, the app't got pushed back.  I have a 2 week stretch till my 36 week app't on Wed 22nd and I will be 36w 6d.  Then I start my weekly appointments.

I'm not exactly sure how the appointments go with this ob I have now, but since I am still on Biweekly appointments (my next appointment I will be 36 weeks almost ) I'm assuming it starts weekly after that one.

Weekly but mostly because my blood pressure has been a little high.

My office stays at monthly til 28 weeks, then biweekly til 36 weeks, then weekly. However, I had an extra appointment for GD at 33 weeks which works out well since my appointment last week was cancelled so now I'll be going 3.5 weeks between appointments.

Just started doing weekly appts (at 34-ish weeks), but that's because I had pre-term contractions this past weekend, and I'm now on meds to stop them, so my doctor's monitoring me much more closely.

My appointments have been weird this pregnancy because of the lovely early GD diagnosis. I started with every three weeks until the sugars were under control. Then she was worried my cervix was borderline length and I continued to see her every three weeks. Then she was worried about growth and it continued at 3 weeks. Now, after all of this time of seeing an OB every three weeks, I have almost a four and a half weeks between appointments (not counting twice weekly nst) followed by weekly. It's been a weird second pregnancy. I think they see you more when they feel like they need to.

I'm 32 weeks tomorrow and am just starting w/ every week appointments. My doctor doesn't normally do every week until you hit 36 weeks, however I've had 2 previous deliveries at 37 weeks or sooner, so they tend to just fast forward me a little bit to be safe. I've been on a bi-weekly schedule since 28 weeks. At my appointment last week I was 50% and 1cm already, so they decided it was time for weekly visits.

I'm also 34w1d and have my appointments now weekly.  I have gestational diabetes, I'm over 35 (I'll be 37 in a few weeks) and I am overweight, so my doctor is having me come in for ultrasounds every week to monitor baby girl instead of NSTs every week.  I don't mind it, because I'll get to wave to her and see her weekly growth.  I knew that around 34 weeks was when bi-weekly changed to weekly.  I have my pre-admission appointment at the hospital tomorrow morning, too.

Im 34 weeks, and had a midwife appt yesterday, they offered a weekly appt for next week, but things have been going well and i just dont see much point.. the appts are 10 mins a go.. so i have prob one more 2 week appt.. ill be 36 weeks.. then prob weekly..
