(Dee=nickname for other SIL, whose 13yo daughter recently competed in a pageant. That SIL posted about 15 pics of my niece in various dresses and her trophies at the competition yesterday)

yikes..I don't have patience for that kind of nonsense.

I recently advised all of my facebook friends that I would be immediately deleting anyone that does the following:

1. "lms" preceding any status update

2. the use of "yolo" in any capacity.

3. airing your dirty laundry

This was mostly focused at DH's younger cousins!

SIL, yes. BIL, no. I asked him on FB once if he knew how to spell, and he said I made him feel dumb. I don't comment on his stuff at all. I won't mock the oldest SIL though. I don't doubt that she would cut me if provoked. I'm not kidding.

DH has 3 sisters and 1 brother. I believe that all 3 sisters graduated HS. I know the youngest tried college and dropped out. The middle one has either an associates or tech school degree. The oldest is some form of CNA or something like that. DH is the only one who graduated college in his family. This is why we are trying to get his oldest niece to go to college. She doesn't have the greatest role models in the education dept. She's trying to get her GED after dropping out of HS because she was so behind from being homeschooled.. Very long story.

This is something teenagers are doing know.  lms stands for "like my status".

example- lms for favorite memory

every person that likes that status, you have to go to their wall and write your favorite memory.

It is VERY annoying and they do it every damn day! ugh I'm getting all fired up about it!

Also, that's why spellcheck was invented.

I think it's "rele" in place of "really" that drives me craziest. I had to tell the oldest niece that I wouldn't reply to her if she texted me like that. I told her that it makes her look stupid and uneducated. Now she makes an effort to type better. I don't mind lol, brb, and stuff like that. But don't type out words purposefully misspelled.
