WFD this week and recipe share!

Smothered crock pot pork chops that just fall off the bone! Delicious!! Will serve over brown rice and with a side of peas.

Kale, white bean, and potato stew. I haven't tried this recipe, but it looks good! I know it's really hot for stew, but I've been on a kale kick lately. :)

Avocado chicken parmagiana with a side salad. I haven't tried this one either, but it looks yummy and I love anything with avocado!

  • Tonight:  Grilled Chicken salads (romaine and bib lettuce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, corn, hard boiled egg, maybe a sprinkle of cheese).

    Wednesday- cilantro lime grilled shrimp, rice, salad

    Thursday- taking DH out for his 30th birthday!!

    Friday- MIL will be here, who knows, but we'll probably eat dinner at 4:45 

  • Tonight we had baked chicken breasts, brown rice, and green beans.  

    Tomorrow:  Left overs...MIL made us a HUGE pot of chicken noodle soup when we were sick this weekend.

    Wednesday:  Grilled Turkey tenderloin, baked broccoli, and honey wheat bread.

    Thursday:  Sunset Dinner Cruise on Lake MI.  :)  I'm really excited about this!! Every summer DH's office plans a social activity for the employees and their families.  The cruise starts at 7:30...so we're having MIL come to watch LO so he'll stay on his 7:15 bedtime.

    Friday: Turkey bacon, Tomato, and avocado sandwiches on Honey Wheat Bread

    Saturday:  Veggie Omelets (which will probably turn into scrambled eggs since my omelets always fall apart!)

  • I am angry about a weight-loss plateau and fired up to break it this week after 7 weeks of no change. So it is healthy meals all weeks!

    Tonight: black bean salad--it is so easy. Toss a can of beans and a can of corn in a pot, add some BBQ sauce and cilantro. It is 4 WW points and satisfying.

    Wednesday: Veggie stew

    Thursday: bean burgers

    Friday: Veggie lasagna

    I am on a HUGE veggie kick lately. I go through phases of being grossed out by meat, and right now I am majorly grossed out because I went to a pig roast the other day. I could very easily be a vegetarian, but I digress...

    Why am I babbling? Shut up! LOL
