I opened up a pack of 0-3 month onsies and they look preemie! I was over 8 lbs and DH was too so I doubt we will even need newborn size clothes. Does this brand just run super small? I have already opened the pack so I can't return.......guess I can always donate if we never use them.
Yep, way smaller than other brands. If it makes you feel better, I was 8 lbs 9 oz and DH was 8 lbs 8 oz. DD was 7lbs even. We got a lot more use out of those teeny tiny onesies than I thought we would.

When organizing our LO's clothes by size, I ended up putting our few Gerber onesies in the pile with similar sized Carter's ones, rather than the size on the label. Some were so tiny!
However, they were perfect for DD - she was 5lb 6oz at birth, 5lb 2oz at discharge, but too long for preemie sizes. Gerber newborn sleepers were the only ones that weren't so baggy I felt they were unsafe.

They run one size too small in width, but tend to be right on in length.
So they are perfect if you have a thin baby.

Yes, teeny.
