Gearing up for TTCAL, month 2...

Today begins month 2 of TTCAL.  DH and I will be BDing every other day starting tonight and using OPK's also.  After speaking with DH and my Dr. we decided to take this route rather than charting for a few months, because charting in the past made me a little obsessed and crazy! It has been pretty difficult adding the "AL" to the TTC...when we were just TTC, there was the anxiety about timing and the agony of waiting to POAS, which was stressful enough.  Now that we have had a MC, I feel an "extra layer" of anxiety about the whole thing...it is ridiculous to worry about complications or another loss BEFORE I have even confirmed an O!!! I really wish I could take the pressure off this process and just enjoy the ride...anyone out there able to do that?!?

Happy Humping! We too are taking a break from charting for a bit (whenever AF decides to return) and will just BD every other day for a couple cycles to see what happens. Good Luck!

I have a bit of an obsessive personality, so I too am not charting at the moment. We're using OPKs and trying to BD a lot. I completely agree with you about added stress. Good luck!

Good luck! We are also on cycle 2, and we're doing similar to what you are. No charting, but checking CM, using OPK's. We're BDing every other day this week (CD9-15). I seem to be ovulating earlier since my C/P in April so I'm hoping our timing is good.

Good luck to you! I hear you on the "extra layer" of anxiety: we haven't even started trying again since our loss, and it's already hard not to think about it. 

Today is CD1 for me and we're planning to start TTC next cycle. I'm charting now, but I haven't decided what to do once we're actually trying. Part of me wants to chart to confirm O and the other part of me knows I could maybe, possibly (okay, definitely) get a little crazy about it. 

Try to just enjoy the moments with YH. ((hugs))

Thanks for the love ladies...I'm hoping this will be our month, but who knows!  I will probably go back to charting in a few cycles if we don't have success...I charted for 7 months before our BFP and it was starting to cause marital strain, lol!  I just over-analyzed my charts and because I sleep very irregularly, it was hard to see the patterns or know if my temps were correct.  All of that caused me a lot of stress and DH didn't like seeing me that way, so after talking to the dr, we agreed to not chart for a few months...I'm just trying my hardest to stay positive about the process and hope for my rainbow baby!  Good luck to all of you too

Lindsday, I TOTALLY get how you're feeling, this is me to a tee!! DH and I just db'd randomly last cycle ( this is what we did last time I got pregnant) and unfortunately AF arrived. Now Im feeling we should put more effort into ttc and we are going to db every day and use OPK's starting today for the next week as well ( I guess we have the same cycle!;)).

I wish I could just relax like last time but Im so eager to be pregnant again I just want to do everything I can to make this happen. Like you though, just the thought of all this makes me so incredibly anxious Im having a hard time relaxing and not obsessing over ttc this week. And you are not alone in worrying about another loss, Im right there with you;( It sucks but I feel like this is now our new normal and we just have to do our best to think positive and believe that we will be lucky next time around!!

I have not found a good balance with the worrying. I guess there will always be anxiety. I purposefully stayed away from charting this last time though so I wouldn't be obsessive. I think it's totally normal what you are going through though. GL TTC!

GL- sticky baby dust for you and FX for a BFP in a few weeks I understand about the anxiety but honestly, charting or not charting, using OPK's or not, it is ALL stressful bc we are TTCAL! I think the whole thing is stressful and it sucks we are all in this boat- hopefully we can all move over to PGAL VERY soon!!!!!

Good luck! I am waiting for AF to arrive, but I don't plan on charting, either.  I've never done it before, and I just don't want the added stress.  I'm nervous enough TTCAL!

GL this cycle! FX this is it for you. It looks like I will also be starting cycle 2 TTCAL this week. I got a BFN yesterday at either 10 or 13 DPO so I'm pretty sure I'm out.
