Last try with IUI before IVF - quick question
Hi,
My RE wants us to give one last try with IUI (#4) before moving on to IVF. I have responded to Femara and Follistim but only with one or two follicles.I go for my CD3 u/s tomorrow morning and he has me doing two vials of Menapur a day starting tomorrow. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am to take it CD 4 through 8 and then back for another u/s. Any advice you can give me would be great.

The goal with TI/IUI is only to get 1-2 follies, maybe 3 at the max.
I'm no help with the meds, but good luck
Menopur does essentially the same thing only it is two hormones, FSH and LH. Follistim is only FSH. The LH is supposed to be helpful for egg quality.
It does sting when you inject it, so be warned. Good luck!
