? for FF AND bottle BF

I'm EP and trying to wean, so I just gave Mason his first bottle of formula. He ate an ounce of it, then didn't want more, so I gave him a bottle of BM for the rest of his meal. He didn't finish the bottle of BM and there is still a good 2 oz in there. Do I have to toss it since his mouth with residual formula on it touched the nipple? I know formula isn't sterile and needs to be handled carefully, and I'm so used to the easiness of BM. ?Do you think his BM bottle is now contaminated? Thanks and sorry if this is a stupid question...

I would say the BM is fine and you can use it for the next feeding.  The BM has white blood cells in it that will consume any bacteria that may have been introduced.
