Re: Stroller Reviews...

  • i don't have too much experience with it. but thats the one we were looking at getting & when we went in to look at it in the store it was SO CHEAP. we were wondering whether or not it would last even a year. the material was also really scratchy.

after looking around we have decided on getting a graco travel system. they seem the most sturdy & well made for the price that we are looking into.

  • I don't know that one - I have the chicco keyfit travel system. I have been really happy with it... however... I'd do it differently this time around (since I already have it, I'm just using it again).

The snap & go strollers are amazing - I lent my sister my infant carseat so she got a snap & go stroller that fit the chicco keyfit. The stroller is MUCH better then the stroller that came with the travel system. It's lighter, has a ton more room underneath for stuff, etc. The chicco stroller is extremely heavy and very little room underneath when the seat is facing backwards.

We later purchased (As a gift..) the city mini and that's our main stroller now. I don't even use the chicco keyfit stroller now - my nanny uses it on wednesdays but thats it.

SO... my main is advice is to possibly think about an infant carrier and a snap and go stroller instead of the travel system. Does that make sense?? :) happy shopping!

  • I went into my local baby store convinced that I wanted a snap n' go and as well as a nice stroller (had my eye on the UPPAbaby Cruz), but I quickly changed my mind after seeing the variety of high quality strollers that have car seat attachments. I'm going to be purchasing the Valco Zee stroller with the newborn car seat attachment ($30). The things I love about the Valco are that it is lightweight, both my hubby and I can push it despite our 14" height difference, and a seat ($70) can be attached to the front when baby #2 comes along.

Do you by chance recall what she got?  Sounds like a good product.  Strollers and carseats are the part of the process that seems the most overwhelming to me right now!

  • I have heard good things about the baby trends stroller so we went to look at the double. We liked the stroller but Hate the carseat. My husband said it was very difficult to remove from the stroller as the release is in front rather than the back.  We have decided to go with the stroller but buy a different carseat. We are also buying the snap and go stroller for everyday use as DS prefers to walk most of the time.

We had a Graco travel system with DS and it has not held up well. The material is cheap and wears very quickly. I also want a longer carseat than the one that came with the travel system.

  • Go and test drive strollers.  It is the best thing I did.  If you want a good stroller that will last, they cost more money, that has been my experience.
  • I don't have any experience with the stroller but we purchased a Baby Trend car seat last time and it was so hard to install and even then it wasn't tight so we returned it. When we told the people there why they said that they hear that a lot.
