Getting excited for L&D!!!

Oh, my goodness... I'm getting so excited! These pics bring back such wonderful memories!! [although I was unaware we could wear such a cute dress instead of those hospital gowns! Haha!] Almost made it through these ones without crying... then they snuck in the big sibling pic at the end!!

Is anyone having someone do birth pics?  I have my sister in the room anyway, so she'll snap a few.  I love looking at these though... especially in black & white!

I'm excited for L&D too! Those are beautiful pics. It's not often you find much nice natural lighting in a hospital room. The photographer did a great job. My birth photos aren't professional by any means and were taken in the middle of the night so the lighting isn't beautiful, but I still cherish them. I love to look back at the look on my and DH's face when they placed her on my chest. Ack! I tear up just thinking about it.

Those pics are really sweet! That shirt she had on is from Target, lol - I have the same one & use it as a beach cover up!

My sister took very similar pics during my labor with DS & I am so fortunate to have them. I hope she's able to be there this time to do the same!

Before the baby- NO

My husband took a few but I didnt want my picture taken. He was told to grab the camera when she was born and take them of her. He took a few of both of us after everything was done.

Wow, that was so precious. My doula is taking pics once baby is born, but I didn't think about capturing the labor.

I have a friend who would do it for me if I ask. I'm on the fence. We'll see. I just don't think I'm going to look that good during labor!

This!  And I don't want to wear something cute to get it all gross....plus I'm a wimp and expecting to need the epi so I would just be trapped in bed.

Thanks for sharing the link!  Everything I've been learning about childbirth has been frightening.  This is such a beautiful preview of what's to come. 

Definitely not taking pictures of myself during active labor.  Maybe some before and after (beginning of labor while my make up still looks good and when the baby is born).
