NEWS:

Kaydra had her fetal echo scan last Friday and follow up growth u/s on Monday. We are hoping for good reports on both. Cara03 is now back on her feet since her cerlcage, although now she's having some lower back pains. Praying that those go away and you start to feel comfortable again. In our news Cara has started to feel the baby move! I loved that feeling! Last week we welcomed gusababy to our group, she is due with #2 in late October/early November.

I'm doing really well. I'm in such a positive place mentally right now and really hoping I can maintain that through the weeks when everything went downhill with my first pregnancy. Anyhow, I'm feeling lots better physically with pain, nausea diminishing, more energy...I just might actually be feeling human again! I start p17 injections next week...here's hoping my husband is a good shot giver!

Thinking about you! The shots for me were not all that bad, but it did hurt for a day or so.

Fetal echo was perfect except I saw the genetalia :( we were team green. Monday we had the sex confirmed- boy! The weight is in the 52% yay! But the previa is still there and the MFM isn't optimistic about it resolving at this point. So I may be facing another late term preemie. Done it once, can do it again!

Yeah for a good fetal echo! Happy to hear that baby #2 is healthy. Praying that you can get to 37 weeks!

I'm so glad! I think it makes sense to be extra worried when you approach the point in your last pregnancy where things fell apart -- I feel sure I will be like that, too. I have found, like you, that I'm mostly in a good place right now. It's like, at first I was a disasterous nervous wreck, then I've adjusted, but then as I approach the end I know I'll be really scared again. So in the meantime, I'm trying to maintain the positivity too!

Maybe your husband should practice on an orange? :)

Lol! The nurse who will be training him said she has some sort of fleshy butt or something to practice on... Should be interesting :)

Thanks! Any tips for making it more comfortable? Did you ice the area after or anyting?

I actually didn't ice the area at all. I had the nurse at my OB's office give it to me. Now she did give it in my upper hip, not my upper butt (like the doctor did one time!!). The upper butt hurts worst.
