Went to L&D, they were very nice. Found out that it was only BH and that I am only drinking half the water I should be drinking. I carry around a 32oz Nalgene with me and drink about two of those a day. She said I should be drinking 4 of those a day. I have no idea how I am going to drink that much fluids. She says my cervix is nice and long and that the pain I am feeling is probably RLP battling with the size of my uterus. *fun*. Twins were moving good and evading the heart monitors. It took the poor woman 20mins to find both of their heartbeats so they are fine. She noted that some woman are just uncomfy starting around this time so tylenol and rest is the best medicine. oh wow.. I am very happy to be discharged and back in my bed. . Twin preggos are just harder on the body...Thanks for the advice ladies.
Ironically they remembered me as the ice lady from almost 3 yrs ago. I had to go to L&D twice a week. I would bring a big cup for them to fill up every visit. They have the best ice!
Re: Would you go to L&D? (update)
The little crunchy pebble ices? Those are the ones they have at our hospitals. They're the best kind of ice lol
I'm glad everything is fine - glad you went in, too... dehydration could have just brought on more and more problems down the line. I hate drinking all damn day long. But, I'm sure I'd hate false labor even more.

Wow, that's a lot of water. I would guess that I'm drinking about 80 oz a day, so I guess I need to step it up too.
I found that I love chamomile iced tea with fresh mint and an orange slice. I tried it at Pain Quotidien one time, and loved it. So, I drink two 16 oz of those throughout the day to help me get enough liquids. Maybe you can think of something a little special that you like to help you drink more.

Getting that much water is tough (and this coming from someone who probably got the majority of her liquid consumption from diet soda pre-pregnancy!). I don't like water.
That said, I have 2-20z Aquafina bottles I keep on my desk -- and I try to get through at least four of them by the end of the day (if not more) -- so if I can have taken in ~80oz of water by the time I leave, I can have some more at home, but not so much that I'll be up all night going to the bathroom
I also love hospital ice! Best part of kidney stone hospital trip, hands down
I'm very gad that you got sent home, and the babies are fine, and you have peace of mind. I hope today is better for you!
