Yeah I toted around about how I was going to do it naturally and I had this in the bag. Half-way through labor I admitted I was full of it. Anyone curious about my birth stories- it's on the birth story board- sorry I can't make it clicky.

Clicky! And congrats!
Congratulations! He's beautiful.
You're not "full of sh*t," dude. You did wonderfully. Epidurals are labor tools, and you needed it, so you used it. If you have another, maybe you won't need it. Every labor is its own thing.
So jealous of 35 minutes of pushing! Great job!
Thanks I struggled with feeling like I "failed" because I wanted pain meds. I'm simply grateful I was able to have a vaginal delivery though. The labor and delivery floor was busy and two girls were sectioned because they were pushing 3 plus hours.
Yeah no one saw that one coming- the ob figured first time mom, she'll push at least 2 hours- bare minimum of 1. She nearly missed being catcher! She told me to watch out for my next one least they come flying out of me.
Aw, he's precious, congratulations!
Siggy check.
Thank you. I'm starting to accept that though I may not have wished it happen like that- I feel I got really lucky in that I had a "quick" labor and to have no complications and a healthy baby is great. I didn't require a c-section and therefore consider myself blessed!
Congratulations!!
This exactly. I did the same exact thing you did. After 10 hrs of active labor and an obsence amount of pit and zero progress I finally realized exactly what overture said. Be proud, you delivered a wonderful healthy baby and that is a miracle and a damned hard job with or without an epi!
