I am so flustered! I went to get my ultrasound today at 4, the time and date the appointment card said, and my dr office was closed. Has anyone else had this happened to you? It's also my anniversary and I've waited two weeks for this one because my last u/s was too early. We would have been able to see the hb for the first time today. Their after hours number is the same as the office, no one ever called to reschedule or cancel. Their hours also state until 5 pm. I'm so upset and want to see my baby. Now I will have to wait to be rescheduled somewhere else. Any advice?

Re: My dr office was closed when I went for scheduled appointment...
My little man at 0-1-2
Something similar happened to me. The doctor had emailed me the time and date. My husband gets the day off(it was already my day off), we get there and the lady says the doc isn't even there that day. At this point we were unsure if this pregnancy was viable or ectopic. Fortunately they were able to get us an u/s appt with a ultrasonographer, but we didn't see the doc that day. I didn't think about changing doctors though. He made a mistake on the day. In his defense, scheduling is not usually an MD thing.
I'd be irritated if I were you, and I'd likely let ppl know my irritation, but I wouldn't change docs or offices over something like that, but that's just me.
This happened 3x during my last pregnancy, but I love my OB dearly so I never considered switching.
Each time it happened was because the dr had to cancel his hours and the receptionist never bothered to call me. Ugh. Not the doctor's fault, but still annoying as hell!!
See I don't feel so attached to my OB. I'm glad im not a first in this case though. I couldn't seem to find anyone else who had it happen to also. We went next door to the pediatricians office to ask of they could call another number. They seemed flustered too because I'm not the first it's happened to according to them. Im not blaming the dr at all because it is the receptionist who is in charge of those things. It is a small office though and there is no back up dr, they just tell you to go to the ER. I haven't really had any actual prenatal care yet there, not even a blood test. So I think switching right now won't be a huge mistake. Also I am high risk and he seemed pretty nervous about me being there. Thanks for the reassurance, even though I know if probably tore you guys apart as well when it happened to you! I feel like being high risk I need somewhere that has extra dr's on call at all times. Thanks again everyone! I know I was super emotional too when it happened and am sure that kind of stress was not good!

Wow. Kudos! I would have switched after the second time.
OP, sorry this happened :- Upsetting and frustrating for sure.
