So tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my D&C. I had what felt like O pains a couple weeks ago and so now I'm praying that AF will come soon. But I've been crampy on and off for a couple weeks and I'm so use to my cycle being somewhat regular I don't know what and when to except her to come back. My periods use to be very light and I had no need for tampons or pads just a liner. Was your first post d&c period heavier? I'm worried I'll be sitting at my desk and start bleeding without warning. I don't want to walk around with a pad on for weeks on end either. I wasn't brave enought to start charting right after the d&c and I know that would have helped me figure our when she is coming. This is a stupid question, I realize this and I know I can just put a panty liner or and bring pads and tampons with me to have just in case and I will do that, but I guess I just want to hear what your experiece was like when AF came back. Was in more painful? Different? Heavier? Lighter?

My experience, and most of what I've read from the other ladies here is that AF can be super wonky post M/C. I had bleeding/spotting for almost 2 months after my M/C. Then, when AF did come back (mid-June) i bled/spotted for 20 days. Finally called my OB's office and spoke with the nurse. She suggested trying BCPs for a few months to see if that will help things get back on track. FX that your AF isn't too weird and that she shows up soon without the surprise attack.
Mine came almost 4 weeks to the day after my D&C. I'd been crampy on and off since my D&C, but I did get super PMSy about 2 days before it started. The flow this time was lighter than previous AFs, but I had way more cramping.
BFP #2 5/27/12. EDD 2/1/13. m/c and D&C 6/21/12.
My 1st m/c I got AF approx. 5 wks after d&c. It was very light than my normal AF but my dr said that was normal since he pretty much "cleaned me out". As far as cramping goes; I had very painful cramps; which I was told is normal. In my 2nd m/c I didn't have a d&c done it happened naturally; so AF was very heavy and lasted 7-8 days.
Hang in there ((hugs))
Siggy warning
Mine was actually lighter, the next one though was a much heavier.
