16W sonogram - Gender?

We had our 16W sonogram and the woman thought it was a boy, not sure. I have heard that by our 20W this may change. Has this happened to anyone?

This happened to a women on my other BMB. They said boy, then at the 20 week it was a girl. She had a girl.

I was told that I am having a girl but not to go out and buy pink things for now because it wasnt a really clear shot and sometimes it is not always 100% clear at 16W. He told me to wait until 20W.

Yes this happened to one of my friends they told her a boy at first but i'm not sure if she was 16wks or a lil earlier then when she went in for another US they told her it was a girl! She had to bring back all the boy items she had gotten and get all pink and girly things! I'm hoping to find out the gender on thursday if all goes well with my appts this week just hoping baby is ok! mommy hopes &prayers are up!
