I don't think that I've ever O'ed due to my PCOS. I took my trigger Friday night and since yesterday afternoon, I've been having a dull ache to the left of my belly button (the injection was on the right side). I had a few distinct cramps on that side as well, but it's the dull ache that's not going away. Is this a sign that the Ovidrel worked?
Sorry for all the stupid questions, I'm just super exciting that I was finally able to get to this step!
Re: What are O pains like?
O pain has been a regular part of my life since I was a teenager (my doc says it just my anatomy) and it is a dull ache a couple inches in from the crest of my pelvis on either side. It's hard to describe its location without a drawing, but it's exactly where I thin my ovary should be! Is yours to the side of your belly button and parallel to it as well? If so that sounds a little high to me, but everybody's different. I also don't think it's a reliable indicator that your meds are working (not as reliable as bloodwork or ultrasound) but its better than nothing! FX!
