Cloth Diapering

CD and day care

hi!
I'm a FTM. DH and I are going to try cloth diapers. If we send our LO to a nanny's house for a few hours a day while I work, what are your recommendations for how to handle diapering while she's there?  I think my biggest question revolves around how (in the most sanitary way possible) I should have her store the used diapers and how I might be able to transport them.

Thanks!
Callie

Re: CD and day care

  • Ditto pp, except I send the large bag instead of the medium bc it has a handle and is easier to grab at the end of the day when I am trying to walk out with a baby in my hand plus a regular diaper bag plus a wetbag full of dirty diapers

  • Definitely a large wetbag with handle. I love my planetwise one.

If you are using pockets, just have your nanny put them in the wet bag and you can un-stuff them when you get home.

  • I would bring a large wetbag (with handle) and bring them AIO or pockets so they are as easy as possible. Stuff the pockets before you go so they can put them on like a disposable.

If you use cloth wipes, I'd put a bunch in a container and have them put those in the wet bag too

  • Thanks, all! This is so helpful! I'm glad to hear that it won't be a pain for anyone!
