We had our follow-up from my husband's post-surgery SA (with still 0% morphology), and we're on my RE's schedule for IVF in September. Due to the morphology issues, she is planning on ICSI and her standard protocol is the long-lupron. Our official consult is Monday, when we bring back all of the paperwork, meet with the nurse for inject training, and then we order the meds.
As I'm writing this, it's surreal. I'm really excited and starting to get a little scared too. As it stands right now, we might end up doing egg transfer on or right around Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish new year... talk about new beginnings).
Now for the mushy part, I just want to say how much that I APPRECIATE everyone on this board. Infertility was such a shock for us, and I can't imagine going through it without knowing there was a place I could go to talk with women going through something similar. I know I've been sort of in and out of the boards this last month, but I just have to tell you that you are all really awesome. I know that no one wants to be here, but we make it a great place to be when you have to be.
Anyone else planning on September?

I totally agree with you. This message board has helped prepare me for this IVF journey. I would be lost without the knowledge and support that I have gained here.
ER planned for August. ET-on hold due to possible move and job change...
Good luck! I know how you feel when you talk about the shock of infertility- especially with MFI. I hope that Rosh Hashanah brings you luck with your first IVF cycle!
DH just gave his sample yesterday for his 9-month follow up from surgery. We'll find out soon what we're doing (likely IVF with ICSI) and hopefully we'll start a cycle in September as well!

If this IUI (#2) fails my RE wants me to move onto IVF. We just need to figure out a way to afford it. If we can swing something then we will be starting BCP's in August for a September cycle. We have our IVF consult Thursday. Eek.

Congrats! I am also planning on September, though my protocol will be different than yours.
I second the appreciation for the board. I think I would be SO much more terrified without women who have/are/will be in the same sort of situations.
Good luck to you!

I think the way it is looking that my IVF will happen sometime in September too!
