Burping during bottle

My DD FREAKS OUT when we take her bottle away  to burp her.  I mean she SCREAMS!!!!!  She even screams when she is finished her bottle. She is 4 months old and is eatting 8oz every 4 hours!!!!!!  Maybe she is ready for solids???  I just don't know how she is still hungry when most babies her age are only eatting around 6oz.  Just had to share that!  I guess she likes to eat like her Mommy Big Smile!

    Does she normally take a pacifier?  I give DD a pacifier right after she finishes a bottle.....she isn't still hungry she just likes the comfort of sucking on something.

    She does...in fact she loves her binkie.  I will have to try that. It breaks my heart to hear her scream!  Thanks!

    Mine screams too - trying to burp her but not after her bottle.  She acts as if she isn't going to get it back again.  At 4 mos. my pedi says a little cereal can be started.  Not sure how your pedi feels...
