Ok Ladies, let's make it a good one! Any ten things you want to say!

1.  I am ready to have this baby.  Actually I would like time to skip ahead some so that I'm at least full term and having her. 

2.  I can't figure out if I should drink my last thing of coffee.

3.  Family is going to the beach this weekend.  I want to go but at the same time I don't since it's a bit of a drive and lately I'm off and on with how I feel.

4.  I'm curious to see how my dogs will react to a LO in the house.

5.  I enjoy having the bed to myself.

6.  I wish I lived in Canada so I could have a year off for maternity leave.  That would be awesome.

7.  I'm waiting for this mucus plug to fall out so I can feel like things are moving along.

8.  My mom wants to be in the room when I give birth.  I do not want anyone but DH and possibly DD there.  She is disappointed and I don't think she realizes that I'm serious.

9.  I can't wait to get into a full on workout routine and get into shape.

10.  I want NY pizza.  Unfortunately I live in CA so I'm a$$sed out there.

2. Because of this they've stopped giving me new projects...my work has gotten painfully slow and boring... not at all the good distraction it's supposed to be.
   
   
3. I have two new obsessions since my nesting has kicked in: cloth diapers and freezer meals.
   
   
4. I have to stop the CD obsession because I already bought them, I don't need more!
   
   
5. My pregnancy dreams are starting to reach new levels of weirdness... I had one last night that in my dream I kept saying it was a dream and trying to wake up but the dream me became convinced it was real.  Super weird.
   
   
6. I just remembered I like lists better with PIPs.
   
7. I'm thinking I currently have so little work that I may just take a short day today... I'm hourly (by choice) so it's really up to me.
   
   
8. I asked DH to get me a cereal at the store this week, I told him healthy... but the one he got is not particularly healthy nor filling...  I eat it and am hungry 10 minutes later.
   
   
9. My cousin's wife just delivered her baby- I have such a mess of emotions when it's so easy for people to have kids, first I'm angry (the whole why me emotion) then I go to think "Ok, this is normal, this is what normally happens... this is what will happen with Raylan."  It makes me totally conflicted... but I still don't want to see pictures plastered all over fb.
   
   
10. My sister just got a super short haircut.. it looks like a Justin Bieber haircut, but somehow is also kinda cute on her.

3. My co-worker/friend just told me she had a dream I was pregnant.  I kept a poker face.

4. We leave for our vacation on Cape Cod next Saturday- I can't wait.

but does not cost $1000+.

6. I am in a total summer recipe rut.  DH may soon rebel against grilled chicken or grilled fish every night.

7. We're attending a party at the beach thrown by one of DH's co-workers this weekend.  It will be my first opportunity to meet the people he works with at his new(ish) job. 

8. I need to pick up some books to read on vacation.

9. My desk looks like a paper bomb hit it. 

10. I am leaving soon to meet my sister for lunch.

1. DH has been gone since Saturday morning and comes home tonight!

2. That means I have to spend some time today cleaning around the house.

4. I'm getting really annoyed with some of my friends on Facebook because they are getting way too political and/or are constantly negative in their posts.Time to un-follow their posts!

5. DH and I are going to see Journey in concert on Saturday!

6. I really want to spend a weekend at the beach!

7. I am trying to get some lesson planning done for the upcoming school year, but am not feeling very inspired. There are still 3.5 weeks so hopefully inspiration will strike soon!

8. I am looking forward to college football season!

9. I took a ton of pictures on my vacation and need to spend some time organizing them into a photo book.

10. I have procrastinated long enough - time to get cleaning!

2. I've started a baby registry on Amazon and have it set to private.  I'm a little freaked out about doing that already, but I want to be able to remember stuff that people say "OMG, I love this for my LO."

3. My parents are in Seattle right now on vacation, and my mom made a point to tell me (twice) that if I needed her to call, and not to worry about "ruining her trip."

4. If something bad does happen God forbid, I don't think I'll listen to her.

5. I think she wishes I would text her every day just to say "Still pregnant" 

6. At first I was so excited for morning sickness, but it's starting to get really old  

7. I wish I could poop.

8. My BMB is getting so old!  Every day it's half intros, and nobody that is intro'ing thinks to check if people have already asked their question before, so it feels like every day it's the same stupid comments and questions.  OMG your boobs hurt!  Nobody here EVER has asked about their boobs hurting!!!

 

9. The only thing that sounds good to me is dairy - mostly cheese and ice cream.

 

 

 

 

10. I have so many people hidden on my facebook, it's nothing but lame updates from The Onion or George Takei.

1. Today is dragging by so slowly.

2. All I want is Vanilla Coke Zero, but no one seems to have it.

3. Oliver is moving around so much right now, and it's the only thing good about my day. He makes me so happy and I can't wait to hold him.

4. DH found a home for our kitty to go to. I'm sad, but it's the best thing for him and for us. We'll also get to visit him, which makes it a bit better to bear.

5. We got new furniture this week! It looks so nice.

6. We're only supposed to get 30 minutes for lunch. So far my two co-workers (who went together and are supposed to go one at a time) have been gone for 45 minutes. I'm the only one in my clinic and I have to pee. One of them is the cousin of our next-higher boss, so I can't say anything and nothing will be done.

7. I want to switch departments so badly!

8. I might talk DH into getting pizza tonight for dinner. I don't feel like cooking and cleaning up after dinner.

9. This weekend I really wanted to get the nursery ready, but instead I have to go to drill. I'm only allowed to put in 8 hours of work at drill, but our work day lasts from 6:00am-11:00pm. So I have to sit there and do nothing from 2:00pm-11:00pm. Yay.

10. Petunia, your Justin Bieber pic disturbed me, so I'm putting in some tiramisu to make everyone suffer and crave it like I do. Enjoy.

1. I only work 2 days next week and I can't wait

2. We are going to see the Lion King next week, I have always wanted to see this play and I am so excited

3. We are going to the Lake next weekend and I have mixed emotions, I love the lake but I don't get to enjoy the fast boats or getting to go in the tubes behind the boat

4. I plan on looking for a new job while on maternity leave.

5. I can't wait to come to California in October for my baby shower and going to disneyland even if I can't go on all the rides

6. DH painted the first round of Jackson's nursery last weekend

7. I too wish I lived in Canada to get 1 year paid maternity leave

8. My brother, SIL and 3 nephews are moving to Houston, so Jackson will get to grow up with his cousins

9. I packed my lunch today and I am ready to eat

10. Tomorrow I will have 150 days left of this pregnancy. I am celebrating every day and it feels like it was just yesterday I was under 200.

1. It is rainy here today and I love it. 

2. Last night DH and I watched a storm roll in over Lake Michigan and it was beautiful, I am so happy we moved back here last fall.

3.  My dog has shown no interest in me for a few months, most likely because I am home all the time now.  This morning he curled up in bed to cuddle and it made me so happy.

4.  Yesterday I shared with my extended family that I am pregnant.  In the e-mail I mentioned my loss.  Several of my cousins have dealt with miscarriages and I believe one may be dealing with infertility.  Because DH and I are newlyweds I did not want anyone to be hurt thinking that this was an easy journey for us.

5. After sharing with extended family, I announced my pregnancy on Facebook.  I don't know that I was ready but so many people know and I wanted to be the one to share before someone else did.

6.  I am shocked that I have gained less than a pound with this pregnancy.

7. The idea of cleaning out our office/guest room to make room for the baby overwhelms me.  I managed to move things out of the closet and onto piles on the bed but I have no idea when I will do anything else in there. 

8. Hopefully soon I feel well enough to cook and clean.  DH is getting really overwhelmed and I feel very guilty.  

9.  I want a new vehicle before the baby arrives but that is not going to happen.  Eventually I will have to decide if I want to drive the Jeep which is older but has more space or my car which is small but I am comfortable with it.

10.   My parents have never visited me where I live which is about an hour and a half from their house.  They are in good health, retired and well off financially, so they don't really have a good excuse not to visit. It bothers me a lot but I doubt I will ever speak up about it.

1.  I have a 3D sono appt set up for Tuesday! At my 20 week LO was not cooperating so I set up an elective one because I would really like to start his scrapbook with his U/S pictures.

2.  Things are seriously going to completely turned upside down at my job with the way do things and I am not sure if I should be excited or scared.  I think we need to make some changes but I dont know if I am really prepared to get everything "fixed."

3.  Today is by one get one for a penny at McDonalds!

4.  I hate when people who already have one child give you advice you didnt ask for.  Just because you did it once doesnt suddenly make you an expert! If I dont ask you for your opinion please dont question or judge what I want to do.

5.  I am going to eat crabs this weekend! Its all I can think about.  This has been the my first summer where I havent had them like every weekend.  Thats just not natural for this southern MD girl : )

6.  We set up our appliances in our house and they look AMAZING!

7.  We are finally moving into our house this weekend!

8.  I love 10 things Thursdays!

9.  I have 15 mins to lunch

10.  Just heard the best news EVER!! My boss just said next week she is going to tell us when she is RETIRING!!!!

2. I'm eating Chinese for lunch and tried to do "healthyish".  Beef & Broccoli with steamed rice instead of battered Orange Chicken with Fried rice.

3. I'm regretting my decision...

4. My MIL coming into town tonight.

5. That reminds me, I need to clean my house before she gets here.

6. I'm working from home tomorrow morning, then taking a half day!  Yay Friday!

7. I'm excited to see my MIL's reaction to our news!  She lives in CO and last time, I had to tell her over the phone, then I didn't see her again until after my D&C.  Today she gets face to face news!

8. She will totally keep our secret, unlike my mother that last time told Facebook immediately!

9. My dog is really being a pest at night.  He recently started sleeping at the foot of the bed.  Now, he jumps down at 2am and starts barking at us.  Once we put him back at the foot of the bed, he's fine.  So irritating!

10. I wish I had considered picking up dessert too when I picked up my lunch...

2. I can't stand when people get so bent out of shape over the gender/sex thing. Yes we know the correct term is "sex" but we don't have to be reminded every time someone says gender.This is a baby board, people are going to say gender. Ughh...

3. I love peanut butter.

4. I want to feel my baby kick more often. I think I am feeling occasional kicks but its hard to be sure.

5. I cleaned out my bathroom closet and realized that I have way too many lotions, beauty products, etc. I hate when I get these as gifts because I have way too many.

6. I have bought one thing for the baby and I can't wait to buy more. Waiting for a/s though.

7. I wish I could poop.

8. I have been so lazy today but can't get motivated.

9. My anniversary was this week and we went for an overnight trip, it was awesome!

10. I need to buy some more athletic shorts.

1. I had a chocolate malt (similar to the one below) at lunch today and it was divine.

2. I don't want my DH to come home for dinner tonight so I can make french toast.

3. I'm ready to fast forward through the rest of the summer (which I would normally NEVER say).  I'm ready to meet my 2nd baby boy.

4. As much as I cannot wait to meet this baby, I'm sad that I'm going to be losing my good night's sleep. (selfish vent over).

5.  It's finally cool enough to not have my a/c on!!  I'm so excited about that!

6.  DS is down for his nap...I really should nap too, but I can't seem to step away from TB.

7.  Apparently I need a nap b/c I'm struggling coming up with 10 things for this post!

8. I need to clean up my house...the clutter is driving me crazy.

9. I wish I could lay around my cats and dog for one entire day.  Tough life.

1. I am irrationally annoyed by my breasts. They only seem to leak at night and then it just a constant ooze. 

2. Last night was my friend's bachelorette  party. 

3. We went to a restaurant called the chocolate bar.

4. I ate bleu cheese from a cheese board. It was amazing and I refuse to feel guilty.

5. We also saw Cirque du Soleil. It was also amazing.

6. I got my hair cut before I went.

7. That caused me to be late for the party so when the other girls who were carpooling texted me and said "we're stuck in traffic and going to be late" I said "me too".

8. GPS should have an "Avoid Ghetto" option.

9. When I got home DH woke up long enough to kiss me and say "I missed you today"

10. We got our dog neutered Tuesday and he is absolutely miserable.

1. feeling crappy and crampy today

2. had a very tragic event in our small town last night. house/barn fire of local farmer, found out this morning he set it himself and then drove his car into a piece of machinery at 110 mph and died (his wife and animals are safe)

3. have a huge party saturday at friends and really don't want everyone knowing we are pregnant yet so making it a brief visit

4. DD #2 heard us talking and is telling everyone we see i have a baby in my belly LOL

5. got tons of laundry to do but just continue to sit here and stall

6. currently doing paperwork to get certified by NYS for my home day care and it is the biggest pain in the ass ever

7. DH works out of town so very excited to see him tom night

8. we live 2 houses down from the school so excited to run over to the playground in a little bit and be able to have all the nature trails right out back

9. i am starving and cant wait to have pizza and wings tonight!

10. DD #1 is 10 yrs old and the biggest help with the other kids i watch, so thankful for her

1. I am constantly paranoid. Am I developing a blood clot? Are the babies okay? Why don't I feel them kicking more? My brain is exhausting. I still can't believe that this is happening or is going to result in healthy babies. I'm sure I'll be doubting it right up until I hear them cry in the delivery room. At least it's good to know that I'm not the only one feeling this way.
   
2. Stupid anterior placenta! Oh, and fat. I'm sure that's responsible for muffling the kicks as well.
   
3. I'm pissed at my OB. She was 45 minutes late on Wednesday and then did my appointment in literally 5 minutes. Scan and everything. She almost read one of the babies' heartbeats as two different heartbeats. Then she said we'd meet again in 4 weeks, not two like i was expecting. Never measured my cervix. Ugh. About the only thing she slowed down long enough to say was that I was gaining too much weight. 28lbs so far. Eat me, lady. You forget that my twins are mono di and you have to be reminded every time.
4. If my husband came home and found me watching "Take Me Out", he'd definitely make fun of me. Ahh, guilty pleasures.
5. My to do list is very long and my will to do it is very minimal
6. Once these babies arrive, I'm drinking a glass of red wine and eating so much mexican cheese that my stomach explodes
7. Is it bad that the only meat I've been craving since I went vegetarian in February is McDonald's related? Yeah...that's pretty bad.
8. Why can't reading be as alluring as the television? *says the English teacher*
9. Work scheduled meetings during the Chicago comic con weekend. #nerdproblems
10. I'm pretty sure that these boys will send me into labor on the Sunday morning of the Walking Dead season three premiere. I should call the hospital and see if they have AMC. lol.

Right? I think I'm going to stay in bed all day on Sundays once the season starts and then go driving over speed bumps every Monday. lol. jk. Actually, in some ways I would respect them coming right before the premiere. I was born right before Christmas. Good babies know not to miss fun events!
