Hits: maybe chicken...she liked to chew on it, but she gagged A LOT and DH took it away.
Misses: Sweet Potato, cheesy pasta, watermelon
We haven't tried much this week because it's becoming frustrating. DH is still not comfortable with BLW, and she doesn't seem to like anything whether it be finger foods or the purees we've tried.

Meats were the worst for C gagging too. Just in the last week or so he's gotten a lot better with meat, I think it just takes time & practice. And my DH was the same way, but he seems to be okay with it now. I know it can be frustrating sometimes, but I would just keep trying.
Thank you for the encouragement. I got lectured by the pedi for not having her on purees, and my mom keeps pushing the subject as well. It's hard sometimes as a FTM to stand your ground and keep confident about your decisions.

To be honest I don't think she knows about BLW. She was all on board for us waiting to start solids, and then yesterday she treated us like LO was 4months old. She wanted us to do purees, one flavor at a time, waiting a few days between each for a reaction. There is no history of food allergies in our family. The look on her face when I mentioned that the only thing LO seemed to like was toast was priceless. I take what she says with a grain of salt, but I didn't expect her to have such a strong reaction. I've really liked her so far, so I probably just won't mention food again...or I'll be more selective with the information I share with her.

Lol!!! Yeah I just told the pedi she eats solids once a day and didn't say we were doing BLW.
