This heat wave makes me wonder...

If we will be those annoying moms a few years from now talking with pregnant girls "Oh yeah?! Well I was pregnant in the summer of 2012-- it was MISERABLE!"...you know just being everything that we get annoyed by now.

 In all seriousness, it is hot but some people think I'm going to die in front of them! I guess some people are more dramatic than others.

Haha so funny I was just thinking of this yesterday.

Then I had the realization that I also will get to tell my grandchildren that "I was around before the internet"

I think that will be the new "I'm older than dirt"

I was born in July & my mom claims it was a record breaking year too....but I looked a few weeks ago and we're topping what happened that year.  haha.  I haven't said anything, I think she just enjoys saying "Oh yeah?  Well me too!"  But she did have three babies in the summer so I guess she wins. 

All I know is this summer has made me more confident that I am so done after this baby!

I just don't want to be that mom--but it's so easy to do. I think people just find it as a way to relate to the pregnant person.

All I can say is that I'm grateful we have air conditioning. I can't imagine being pregnant in this heat without it. To any of you who are going without-- you have my utmost respect!

I cry a little each night when we get over 100 and it makes me dizzy just to be in the house.  

I wish we could put AC in our house - we do have a wall unit in our bedroom the previous owners installed so we get relief in there but I feel so bad locking DS up in our bedroom after work so we don't get over heated.  He wants to get into EVERYTHING.  haha.
