Update - AF still has not shown. My RE's nurse said if it's 2 weeks late, they'll give me something to jump start it but honestly I don't know if I want to mess up my hormones any more than they already are so I may just wait it out. Ugh. 

GTKY: Animal rights - I give money to PETA and HSUS plus some local animal charities too. I also have to admit that I love getting dressed up and doing fancy things for charities, like the gala that PETA had in LA a few years ago, it was unreal, I got to meet tons of celebrities! Of course, it's all for the animals.

As of last week, I was at 15.  I go for a b/d tomorrow.  I am hoping we are below 5 if not 0 but I have been hoping that for several weeks now.  I go back to the doctor on Tuesday to see if the estrogen did its job and that my ute is healed.  So hopefully I can start TTC again.  If it isn't probably looking at another D&C.

GTKY:  It is a local organization called El Pamar.  It was started by Spencer Penrose and it supports many non-profits.  It has a high school club, and college group too.  In high school I believe we go $10,000 to give out in grants to local 501 (c) (3) orgs.  I loved every minute of it.

Update: This was my first month back to TTC. I coudln't wait 'til the 21st (when I'm supposed to get AF) and tested yesterday. BFN of course. I don't know what I was expecting. Maybe puppies and rainbows to deliver me a BFP. Meh.

I don't have a specific charity or cause that I donate to (other than my Church). My donations are random.

Thanks so much for running this check-in. I always look forward to seeing it and seeing how everyone is doing. I started testing this morning like a crazy person (I'm 8 DPO) and of course got a BFN. I'm going to test again on Friday and keep my hopes high

 

GTKY: What is your pet charity or favorite cause?

I often donate to the Arizona Humane Society because they treat their animals so well. I also donate to my work which is a non-profit serving children in foster care.

AF arrived last Thursday. I'm happy to be starting a new cycle, and am really hoping this one works for us. I'm not doing that great, emotionally, lately and I don't know what I'm going to do if we have another month of "failure". At first I thought I was just PMS'ing, but my bad mood has continued. I just can't help thinking I should be 29 weeks pregnant right now. I saw a pregnant woman in the grocery store who had my build and coloring, and who looked like she was about that far along, and I just can't stop thinking about her. 

Sorry to be a Debbie Downer. I'm trying to think positively and be optimistic, but it's not working that well!

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

GTKY: Like Boots I like to give to pet related charities, and my favorite is Best Friends animal shelter. I also donate to the local food bank as often as I can afford it.
