Light Brown Spotting

I am just over 13 weeks and started having very light brown spotting when I wiped last night (right when I was registering at BRU of all places).  I will call my doctor this morning but I'm out of town so getting seen by someone will be a bit trickier.

Any ideas or experience with this?!

My doc told me a little brown or red spotting from time to time is no big deal, and said not to worry unless I am soaking through a pad an hour. If I were you I'd just take it easy & check in with your doc when you can. Chances are it's something very minor. GL!

If it makes you feel any better, around 6 weeks I had full on red flow for almost a whole day (started out strong & tapered off throughout the day)... and it turned out to be nothing. My doc said it was probably just implantation bleeding finally working its way out. And I've read about many of the ladies on here having had experiences with bleeding and everything turned out fine. I know it's scary but hang in there!

I have also had brown spotting on and off this pregnancy.  Everything is fine with me and my doctold me not to be concerned since it is brown.  He also said it was old blood working its way out.  I know it is easier said than done but try not to worry!

Just call your doctor. They will tell you whether or not you should worry about anything.

I'm glad you posted this because I have been having light brown and even some really light pink spotting here and there over the last few days.  My nurse at the RE's office actually TOLD me I would see some spotting based on evidence of bleeding back at my 8w4d u/s.  I have since had another u/s and everything had healed up before I saw any of the spotting.  But now that it seems to be working it's way out, I feel pretty nervous about it.  

I keep telling myself that it's no biggy, reminding myself that the nurse said it was no biggy, but it's also good to hear it from other people, too.  Soooo, THANK YOU!
