I know what you mean. Yesterday my FIL asked my SIL how old my new niece would be at Christmas. When my SIL answered that niece will be 7 1/2 months old, FIL said "wow she will be so big. DH piped in "so will TexasMom." Wow, thanks DH. Actually, I took no offense. It just made me more excited for Christmas this year.

Is it weird that I'm excited to be hugely pregnant over the holidays? I'll be too far along for us to go anywhere (we live overseas on an island) so we'll just have a cozy Christmas with my DH and DS. Plan on putting a tree up and having Christmas music on for weeks. No stressful 'must visit every family member' driving around for us this year.
The fall always flies by for me, since I am a teacher and my kids are in elementary school. We are just so busy from September until Christmas, I know it is going to feel like a really short pregnancy for me!
I am also happy to have an excuse not to travel over Christmas. Normally, we would have to fly out to my IL's, and although they are wonderful people, they live in Boringville, USA, and I would much rather stay home for the break!

I'm so excited to be big at Thanksgiving/Christmas/etc!! I know how you feel! However, I do kind of want to show off to family. I'm one of those annoying pregnant women that whips out the blurry sonogram photos every time someone asks how I'm doing.
Re: So flippin excited!!
