12 weeks..... 1st trimester is coming to a close

I have made it to 12 weeks.  This is a huge deal for me bc of my history of miscarriages I haven't made it past 6 weeks let alone all the way to 12! The doctor says the baby looks great and is sticking to a DD of January 27th. I had MS without vomiting and was miserable from week 5 to week 11 and then I woke up one morning with no MS and a tad more energy than usual and towards the end of the week my belly began to pop. I had coughed it up as bloating at the time but after days of not going down I am obviously pregnant when you see me, and I love it  

The only complaint I have about pregnancy is I know mulitple friends who are pregnant or have been pregnant and they all tell me something different and go in the opossite advice of my doctor. Trying to explain to each of them that not every pregnancy is the same and I am different them gets tiring!  Is anyone else having unwanted advice?

I think random and conflicting advice is part of pregnancy. Everyone thinks they know what is right especially if they are pregnant themselves or have had LO's before. I would say go with what you think is right and you'll be fine.

Congrats on 12 weeks!

Everyone is always offering advice and this isn't even my 1st!  I guess since it has been 8 years people think I have forgotten what pregnancy is like.  Usually I can tolerate it and smile and say something like "oh I remember".  One friend of mine does not stop and I did get snarky with her a few weeks ago and I think she got the hint.  

Get used to it, even more unwanted advice comes when you have your LO.

Congrats on making it to 12 weeks!  I'm right on your heels, hitting 12 weeks today. 

Regarding advice, haha, that's one benefit of having not told everyone yet, I guess!  We just told the rest of our families this weekend and I won't be tell my work for four more weeks (when I get back from vacation).  I know some of the ladies in my office can be real know-it-alls, and I'm glad I don't have to hear anything yet.  But I am bracing myself!

Our stories and due dates the same. This is my first pg to get this far and all the others I lost by 6 weeks. Just ignore the advice if you aren't interested. I am sure they have the best intentions, you just have to go with what is best for you.
