North Jersey Mamas: Rec your hairdresser NBR, obv

So, I've lived here for 4 months and am in desperate need of a good hairdresser.  I'm really particular about who does my hair.  Partly due to bad past experiences, partly due to the fact that I have very thick wavy frizzy hair, and partly due to the fact that I have a scalp injury from a grease fire 10 years ago.      Any of you ladies live in the North/Northwest Jersey area and have an awesome hairstylist you'd care to share?     TIA!

I have thick wavy frizzy hair too but I'm not loyal to any one person or place. My last cut was pretty good. The place is called Secrets in Wayne. I can find out her name if you don't get any other recommendations...I don't remember it.

I go to a salon in Oakland called "I Love Lucy's." Amy has been doing my hair for years. She's awesome.

Awesome!  Thank you for the recs!  I'll do some research on them and hopefully soon I can get this mess on my head trimmed and colored.   It's shameful, really...

I use to go to Jungle Red in Englewood also great but more expensive.
