and DD is jumping up and down on it. DH left for work at 4:30am this morning and won't be home until 11:30pm tomorrow night. My allergies are kicking my a$$ and i feel like crap. we're having thunderstorms and my dog is terrified and curled up next to me. DD was jumping on the couch and completely ignored me when i told her over and over to sit down. then she sat on the dog. then she was climbing up and down off the couch and kicking the dog (not on purpose but still). then i caught her pulling the dogs hair!! on purpose. i yelled NO and put her in time out and it did not even phase her. now she is back to climbing up and down off the couch. the poor dog is so good with her, she just takes it even though DD is giving her quite a beating today. i feel like absolute garbage and i CANNOT wait to put DD to bed. she only took a 40 minute nap today just long enough for me to eat lunch and clean up! UUGHHHH! I love her to death but she is skating on thin ice today!!!

and just when i think i've had it - she does something like patting the dog on the back and telling her "it otay" because she knows the dog is scared of thunder LOVE<3

Yep, I was there yesterday. It might just need to be an early bedtime tonight.

When ds is like this I put him in the bath. He loves it in there & will play to jis heart's content while I just sit & watch.

Sometimes I think our LOs know when we aren't feeling well & do whatever they can to test us.
