Hemnes Dresser?

Hi Ladies,

Just looking for a bit of info.  I live 2.5 hours away from the nearest IKEA and was wondering if anyone could give me a bit more feedback on the color of the black/brown Hemenes Dresser?  I have a crib that is espresso in color and am wondering if the dresser is really black and will look silly together or if it truly looks dark brown.  It is too hard to tell from the pics online and DH will kill me if we drive there for nothing!

TIA for any opinions as I know a lot of ppl have this dresser!

I don't remember exactly what the Hemnes color is IRL, but we had the MALM black/brown set for a long time and that one was almost black with more brown parts woven through, if that makes any sense.

I would say it's almost black/expresso.

The Hemnes dresser is a lot like the espresso of other places, I think.  We have the Hemnes bed and recently got the dresser in black/brown as well.  It's basically the same color as the espresso cube shelf thing we have from Target.  I'll see if I have any pictures!

We have this dresser in our master and the nursery...I'd say it's definetly closer to black. But our crib is espresso (Childcraft Hawthorne crib from target) and it looks great with it.)
