I really want the Kalani crib in Espresso but I'm not too fond of the combo dresser. I was really hoping for a shorter dresser so we could use as a changing table but I want it to be a dresser they could use in their teens without looking like it was a changing table.
Any suggestions?
Re: Dresser Match for DaVinci Kalani Crib Espresso
This is the one you don't like?

I don't like the combo dresser, either. That line has two other dressers.
This one: https://www.amazon.com/DaVinci-Kalani-Drawer-Dresser-Espresso/dp/B0013TMM1M/ref=br_it_dp_o_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&coliid=I33WCGFGCVE0ZF&colid=JCDOXNR4QM15 (Which is the one we are getting.)
And this one: https://www.amazon.com/DaVinci-Kalani-Drawer-Changer-Espresso/dp/B0011BF1PQ/ref=pd_sim_ba_4 (Which is a changing table, too, so it might not work for the teen years.)
Why not get the 4-drawer dresser and just a simple changing table? We have an antique hope chest that we will put our changing pad on. We already had it, and fortunately the colors match pretty well.
If you buy something not in this line, you do run the risk of the colors not matching. Even if they do say "espresso," there are a lot of interpretations to that color out there.
GL!
I purchased the exactly same crib as you did, and also spent some time to decide which dresser I like that matches the crib. This is what I just ordered from Amazon a few days ago.

Yes, it was the combo I didn't like. If I am going to pay for a new dresser I want it to last and I don't like the combo dresser for a teenagers room.
I do like the 4-drawer (somehow I didn't see that one) and the Piedmont, especially because of the price. Was also thinking about the Hermes but was wondering if I could get it to match.
You might have a good chance of them matching if you buy one in DaVinci (but not necessarily Kalani). Since it's the same brand, their espresso color might be the same across the board.
