    For as much as I am not a huge Palin fan, I really do like McCain.  I know that's not popular, but I think he's a really nice man and has served this country well.  And his speech is lovely, IMO.

    And I LOVE my fembot girlfriend, Cindy.  I plan to petition her to adopt me.

    I feel the same way about McCain as a person.  I admire him in so many ways for his military service.  I think that he could have done alot better than Palin.  I hate that maybe he thought that it was his "one up" to choose Palin as a running mate.  I agree, his speech is lovely!

  • Deplorable yes but very common in a partisan crowd hearing a concession. Remember candidates are nearly always more progressive than their supporters. McCain was gracious as he should be, but his supporters weren't. Par for the course.

    this is true.  I just hate to think that people do this regardless of policital subscription.
