Just needed to share my excitement, I passed my 3 hour glucose test today!! I will still have to test again when I am 28 weeks but at least for now I am in the clear. I was so worried I would have GD this time and have to start with glucose checks and the diet early. Now I can go and enjoy our family vacation and eat all the icecream I want!!!

So sorry   That is what I was so worried about. It is bad enough having to deal with it from 28 weeks on but from 12 or so weeks on sucks!!

It's a great thing to hear right?!?! When I got the call I passed the 3 hour I did a happy dance in my office. I have to test again at 26 weeks & I'm going to expect the worst, but for now I can just do my thing for another 11 weeks.

Do you ladies mind if I ask how you tested early?  I am just wondering if I am at a higher risk since my brother has diabetes - the insulin-dependent kind.  My dr. has never said anything about testing early, but I've been wondering if I need to ask her a little more about it.
