Too much Tinkling :(

I'm going to the bathroom every hour in the 2T. I read frequent trips would lessen around this time?

Does this sound like I should be concerned with gestational diabetes. My OB said I would get it ( its just a matter of time), not "might".

I just wanna make sure I'm taking care of myself.

  • I promise that was ok, I was going every 45 minutes while I was at work for about 6 weeks.

  • I'm still going to the bathroom all the time, too. It had lessened weeks 8-15 or so, but now it's back. For me, going to the gym makes it worse. In a 1 hr workout I had to stop twice to pee. Just drink plenty of water even if it means more trips down the hall.

  • I hear ya sista!  I can't stand getting up 2-3 times at night, I have such a hard time falling back asleep.  I'm also having really bad heartburn at night, so all in all, it stinks!

  • I'm going through the same thing -- I understand. My doctor said that it was normal, as long as there isn't any burning.
  • I'm making frequent trips to the bathroom as well. I drink a lot of water so I'm attributing it to that, and that my bladder doesn't have the room it once did.

I haven't been to my OB yet this month, but as PP said, I'm sure my doctor will also say it's nothing to worry about unless it burns.

  • I feel like all I DO is pee.  Believe it or not, when I told my doctor how many times I am peeing, she said to cut down some on the water (which I couldnt believe, considering how many times I have been told and read to drink tons!)  She said sleep is more important, so getting up two and three times an hour most of the night doesnt help me or the baby.

I am also now feeling the baby a lot down low and when she moves a certain way, I immediately get uncomfortable and feel like I have to pee, even if I just went.

     ARGH!

  • I still pee frequently.  I still get up between 3-4 times a night to go too.  It blows.
